Activities
“Il barattolo”, a voluntary association sensitive to psychic problems, decided to undertake a series of activities aimed at the rehabilitation and well-being of psychiatric users. The activities are carried out in cooperation with the Ferraris-Pancaldo High School, with which the project “A gonfie vele” has been created, a socio-sanitary and cultural journey set in the Ligurian waters as a crossroads between art, biology and medicine. The broader project proposes a cultural voyage through the Ligurian ports, highlighting the boat as a socio-health ambassador.
The Leon Pancaldo promotes a series of activities, conferences on navigation and disciplines such as medicine and biology and hosts the floating Art Brut museum. The museum proposes to give a voice to psychiatric patients and their families, in an artistic and socio-cultural journey that combats stigma through the vision and knowledge of the expression of a different world. The works on display inside the ship can be enjoyed by all citizens.
The museum is located og the boat Leon Pancaldo, in the Nautical Institute of Savona.
Participants
